Nefertari tomb

Nefertari’s tomb is one of the most beautiful tombs in the Valley of the Queens in Luxor.

It was built by Ramesses II for her, as he was his main wife in the 19th Dynasty, around (1290-1224 BC) to be a place for her to rest in the afterlife.

The tomb is decorated with scenes from the “Book of the Dead,” which is a funerary text that was believed to help the deceased. With his eternal life.

Nefertari’s tomb is decorated with a group of drawings depicting her accompanying the gods (Isis and Osiris).
In addition to its bright colors that retain their splendor.

The tomb was discovered in 1904 by the Italian scientist (Ernesto Schiaparelli).
