The Giza Pyramids Complex is one of the oldest and most remarkable archaeological sites in the world, dating back more than 4,000 years. It features three main pyramids, six smaller pyramids, and the legendary guardian of Egypt, the Great Sphinx. The complex also includes the Valley Temple, which played a vital role in preserving the legacy of ancient Egyptian kings and queens. Today, the Giza Plateau remains one of Egypt’s top tourist attractions.

The Great Pyramid of Giza is the only surviving structure of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Built around 2580 BC, it is over 4,500 years old and represents the beginning of the golden age of monumental construction in ancient Egypt. Constructed over 20 years using approximately 2.3 million limestone blocks, each weighing around 2.5 tons, it once stood at a height of 147 meters (481 feet), making it the tallest building in the world for nearly 3,800 years. At the end your guide will transfer you back to your cruise ship at the port 2 hours before departure.
